Aside from yoga’s well known benefits– increased flexibility, improved sleep, and improved cardio and circular health, yoga is being used to help children with special needs. Prafull Oorja, a non–profit yoga studio in India started by Americans Madeleine Sears and Sowmya Ayyar living in India, teaches yoga to children with special needs.
