Everyday our world becomes more globalized. Seemingly unconnected parts of the world, the economy, and society are all weaved together in unimaginable ways. One thing you might be surprised to learn is the intrinsic connection between unemployment and public health. European job creation programs found that for every euro the government spent on job creation, the community saved 2.5 euros in public health spending. Recently the same European programs were taken stateside, and will hopefully have the same results as they did across the pond.
