A graduation from the best universities is your ticket to the best jobs. Right? Google recently discovered that this notion is false and that overachievers often have a genius complex: An inability to take ownership or learn from their mistakes. And in the fast moving world of the web that’s a critical ingredient for success. Because top grads do almost everything perfectly in school, if something goes wrong at their job they can’t fathom it being a mistake they made, and pin the blame on another person. Those who went to regular universities, or no school at all, have a strong ability to learn from their mistakes, and take in and process new information quickly.
