A study done earlier this year found that organic food was healthier than pesticide grown food—if you eat only organic it’s like adding a one or two more servings of fruits or vegetables per day. So organic food is better for consumers. And it’s better for farmers too. It has been proven that organic farming is more profitable than chemical farming. So why aren’t all farmers switching? Because they are set in their ways. Chemical farmers have learned to farm with pesticides and think that organic methods are “unscientific”. Or they see organic farmers as left-wing hippies. Who said that change is easy?
