If you hate needles then you’ll love this new technology. Vaxxas, an Australian company, has come up with a needle-patch that has thousands of drug-laced micro needles. The micro needles barely break the skin when they administer drugs, and supposedly don’t hurt at all. Even more interesting is that unlike traditional drugs or vaccines the needle patch doesn’t need to be refrigerated which could be a major benefit for developing countries where refrigeration isn’t common.
