Today’s Solutions: November 22, 2024

Yes, the languages we speak are overtly optimistic, but that doesn’t mean on a societal level we’re all optimists, though you should be. Optimists are happier, live longer, and have stronger immune systems, those points have all been scientifically proven. Even if you’re not an optimist, anyone can change and we suggest starting by employing traits all optimists share. Show gratitude regularly, even for the small things, it humbles yourself and shows you are appreciative. Surround yourself with fellow optimists, everyone is influential and if you surround yourself with pessimists some negativity will surely rub off. Smile, even if you don’t feel like it. Smiling creates an upbeat atmosphere and studies have shown that smiling, even if you aren’t happy, reduces your body’s stress.
