Cutting back on alcohol consumption can prove to be difficult when you’re having a night with friends. Many struggle with drinking less, but an ancient Chinese herbal remedy called kudzu may be helpful in reducing the amount you drink without going entirely dry. In a randomized placebo-controlled, it was said that kudzu cut alcohol consumption by between 34% and 57%. Kudzu accelerates the flow of blood to the brain, causing your brain to feel the effects of alcohol sooner, which seems to mean you won’t drink as much. What’s also intriguing is those who take the kudzu supplement lessen their need to drink without even knowing.
