With more and more communication happening online, postal services face a challenge: How to keep up their countrywide services with ever less business? Finland’s mail service Posti has found a creative solution. During the summer on the typical slow Tuesdays, Posti’s employees will offer a lawn mowing service during their regular delivery rounds. Customers can sign up for a 30- or 60-minute session online from EUR 65 ($73) per month, but they must provide their own lawnmower.
