Forget about the hassle of charging your electric car: China’s leading clean energy provider, Hanergy, has launched an innovative series of solar-powered concept cars that are continually being charged while they drive.The four concept cars utilize thin-film solar batteries, which are capable of generating up to 10 kilowatts of electricity per day; enough power to drive a car up to 80 kilometers. If necessary, the concepts can also utilize a lithium battery, which will allow the driver to travel up to 350 kilometers per day. Equipped with the latest internet technology as well, Hanergy is optimistic that more than five million people will drive these solar-powered vehicles by 2020.
