In the world of mainstream medicine complementary treatments, like homeopathy, are controversial. However, doctors regularly recommend natural remedies. An interesting international study of 582 pediatric physicians shows that 99 percent of them have prescribed or recommended a complementary and alternative medicine in the past year—76 percent prescribed a homeopathic medicine. “There’s an almost universal acceptance of complementary medicine,” according to the leader of the German study.
