Separating themselves from other generic supermarkets has proven so successful that Eataly is backing a plan to back an innovative air-filtration system meant to conserve Leonardo da Vinci’s iconic 15th-century painting “The Last Supper,” which depicts what is possibly the most epic Italian dinner of all time.
