And that can make a big difference for the health of their societies and the planet. Why would all people in India buy their own cars when car-sharing with self-driving electric cars is the future? India’s government sees the opportunity and is planning a major leapfrogging strategy: Instead of 170 million cars, the number expected with the current trajectory, there would be 77 million cars in 10 years.
