The world is becoming a better place to live. Although 800 million people in the world still go to bed hungry every day, the UN’s latest Human Development Report stated that 1 billion people have risen out of extreme poverty in the past 25 years. The report also looked at nearly 200 countries across a number of categories, including life expectancy, education, gender equality, and financial health. These are the 12 countries that scored the highest.
