Research has linked sitting for long periods of time with a number of health concerns, including obesity and metabolic syndrome. Previous research has assumed that improving heart health can only happen when doing high-impact or aerobic exercise, but a new study has found that the even everyday low-impact activities can have positive effects on the heart.
