Isn’t it refreshing when politicians actually honor the promises they make? Parisian mayor Anne Hidalgo promised to tackle environmental issues and improve the city’s green spaces when she ran for office in 2014, and she’s made good on that promise. Hidalgo has not only helped reduce the number of cars driving around the city but has also led the charge to bring more urban farming to Paris. The city has already approved 75 new projects for development, which are estimated to produce more than 500 tons of produce.
