In Wales, a packaging company has started the first British paper straw factory in decades. The company has already reached out to the 1,361 McDonald’s restaurants throughout the U.K. and Ireland. McDonald’s recently announced that it will stop using plastic straws in all of its restaurants in the U.K. and Ireland by the end of next year.
