Today’s Solutions: November 14, 2024

Lack of natural habitats, cramped cages, and forced training are often unavoidable realities that circus animals have to live as a result of people’s entertainment.

Deciding that such conditions are inadmissible, the Welsh government is getting set to ban the use of wild animals in traveling circuses. The new legislation would make it an offense for an owner of a touring circus to use wild animals as part of their performances. Anyone convicted of breaking the law would face an unlimited fine in the courts.

Similar laws have been passed in Scotland and the Republic of Ireland, while legislation to outlaw the practice in England is currently passing through Parliament. Can we see this in the US, please?
