Today’s Solutions: November 02, 2024

Welcome to World Unity Week! We’re collaborating with other change-making organizations around the world to promote healing, community, and discussion. Each day, we will be featuring one of the many great events happening this week, and we encourage you to head over to the World Unity Week website to learn more.

Today, we’re featuring the Impulse NGO Network and the Impulse Model, initiatives founded by Hasina Kharbhih of the Khasi Tribe of Northern India. At 9 am EDT, Kharbhih hosts a seminar to discuss the organization uses indigenous mindsets to rescue children, provide healing, teach job skills, and create new businesses.

Since its conception in 1993, the organization has rescued 73,000 girls and boys from human trafficking. Some of their work includes litigation against companies illegally using child labor and job skills training for individuals vulnerable to trafficking.

You can learn more about Kharbhih here and check out the free event under Tuesday’s schedule here.
