Many CEOs in the U.S. make a 1,000 times more money than the average employee in their companies. Unfortunately, that’s not a new phenomenon. But it is new that there is a federal regulation that requires publicly traded U.S. corporations to disclose how much their chief executives are making compared with their median workers. The disclosures are just now starting to flow in. That information fuels a movement for necessary change.
