The small town of Kamikatsu in Japan takes recycling to another level. In a bid to produce zero waste by 2020, the residents in this town sort their waste into 45 different categories. The very-specific categories make it much easier to find ways of repurposing waste, with 80 percent of waste currently being recycled. It’s an amazing feat, but one that’s required Kamikatsu’s residents to get their hands dirty. See here the great efforts these residents make to sort out their waste.
