Electric cars are becoming more popular for obvious, good reasons. Still their sales figures are marginal. This year 0.25 percent of all cars sold in Canada are electric. But at Bourgeois Chevrolet, an hour North of Montreal electric cars make up 35 percent (!) of total sales. There are no special demographic reasons why electric cars do so well in Rawdon, Quebec, where the dealership is located. This Chevy dealer attributes the “electric” success to the special training its sales people went through. This is the take home value for car dealers across the world and for a sustainable planet: A good story, well told, will generate success.
