Today’s Solutions: January 12, 2025

Lynne McTaggart is author of international bestsellers “The Field” and “The Intention Experiment,” she is also editor of the magazine What Doctors Don’t Tell You. McTaggart believes that everything is interconnected, down to the smallest particles.
The Intelligent Optimist asked McTaggart how conflicts arise between people if conflict is not a natural human trait. “My answer is: people live under the false stories. Not natural, but culturally specific stories. Stories about scarcity, individuality and competition. That is the basis of all conflicts that we see. ”
We also asked McTaggart how the media impacts conflict and public perception of conflict. “The media foment difficulty. They also encourage and paint an unholy picture of conflict. They’re always reporting on bad news, they believe news is bad news. And they’re also reporting on biased bad news. So I encourage people to ignore conventional media and get their news from other sources.”
