There’s a certain degree of angst that comes with driving behind a slow semi-truck, especially when you’re in a two-lane road. Being unable to see in front of the truck, its hard to prepare for a sudden halt or a safe pass-by. Samsung thinks it has the solution to this problem with the new Safety Truck, equipped with a camera up front that sends a live feed to four large weatherproof video monitors on the back, allowing you to see what’s going on ahead of the truck. The Safety Truck is currently testing in Argentina, which sees plenty of accidents every year involving cars trying to pass trucks. Samsung expects to expand the Safety Trucks throughout the rest of the country, and potentially the world, later in the year.
