We spend so much time trying to be happy, and worrying about being angry that we often forget that anger is a good thing. Research in the behavioral and biological sciences suggests that, when recognized and channeled, anger can improve health, enhance intimacy, further social justice and spur creativity. Anger does need to be regulated, if left unchecked anger can spin out of control like a hurricane. But while keeping that in mind, instead of letting your anger get the best of you, channel your anger, and try to use it in beneficial, constructive ways.
